Greater Palm Springs Pride 2017 Pride Honors Awards
Greater Palm Springs Pride presents the prestigious Pride Honors Awards annually to individuals in order to recognize their efforts in raising awareness and furthering the causes of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals and their allies.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony on September 28, 2017
Palm Springs Pride has opened the nomination process for the annual Coachella Valley Pride Honors Awards. Each year a slate of Honorees are selected for their many contributions to the betterment of the greater LGBT Community. Palm Springs Pride seeks community support to find those most deserving of recognition.
Palm Springs Pride seeks individuals, groups, organizations or businesses that have positively contributed to the LGBT community. Past Honorees have included: gay rights pioneer, Morris Kight; founder of Metropolitan Community Church, Troy Perry; a life-long feminist and activist, Ruth Debra; political activist and founder of the Imperial Court System, José Julio Sarria; creator of the rainbow flag, Gilbert Baker; Tom Bianchi, Katherine V. Forrest, Michael Green and Stephen Boyd, Lucy Debardelaben and Gail Christian, Lambda Legal among many others.Download Nomination Form
