Unforgettable Performances by Acclaimed LGBTQ+ Artists
The Desert Air Takeover at Palm Springs Pride will feature sets by three exceptional artists:
Perfect Lovers: A prominent figure in the LA and Mexico City queer nightlife scenes, Perfect Lovers co-founded the underground warehouse parties, Por Detroit, a platform for queer music and culture.
Margo XS: This LA-based DJ and producer ignites dancefloors with her infectious sets that blend experimental club, pop, and gritty garage sounds. An advocate for the LGBTQ+ and trans community, Margo is also one-half of the explosive live coding duo, deBasement.
DJ_Dave: A pioneer in live coding, DJ_Dave creates music through code, pushing boundaries and reimagining electronic music. A sought-after artist, she has performed at The Whitney Museum, Coachella, and the Meta Headquarters, collaborating with artists like Grimes and Tove Lo.
“Desert Air’s commitment to inclusivity reflected in its eclectic mix of artists, including a strong representation of LGBTQ+ talent and allies, is perfectly aligned with our mission to foster Pride in and respect for the LGBTQ+ communities,” said Ron deHarte, Palm Springs Pride President and CEO. He added, “The Arenas District Takeover is a cultural tourism collaboration between a local business and the 38-year-old nonprofit Pride organization.
